Kill the machine with normal arrows THEN shoot the canisters off with Harvest Arrows. The canisters will have extra blaze. Shoot a Stormbird in the eyes (ideally after freezing it) for a handsome damage bonus that no-one and nothing tells you about. Apparently the watchers have a weak spot in the eye too..
