If it wont move then try something larger like a file. This will give you a larger surface area to apply pressure to the vanes of the fan without risking damage to the fan.
just out of curiosity, where is the heater control valve located on the 2006 e90 bmw 325i? i took off the cabin filter and frame but I could not find it. if this vehicle has a heater control valve, they do a good job of hiding it.

The replacement seat module more than likely needs to be coded to your car in order for your car to recognize it. Search on craigslist in your area for "BMW coding" to see if anyone has the proper programs for reprogramming modules.
